roletoac This page is intended to be used to capture the comments of people who are directly involved in its formation and will provide the resources and support for its long range operation. Our goal is to capture the "requirements/expectations/performace measures of the Department's sponsors so that a responsive Department can be created. These requirements will be compiled and published as "Stakeholder Requirements."

Who is considered a Sponsor

We are using the term Sponsor to refer to those people involved in the original formation of the new department as well as those people who will continue to support the Department politically and financially.

Sponsors include voters, taxpayers, members of congress, including committee and subcommittee members that originally evaluated and amended the legislation (or believe it should be amended because it does not meet their specific needs or political objectives).

Please note that the "Needs" of people who are served by the Department are being captured on a different page - see User Needs.

Please note that the "Needs" of people who will "own and operate" the Department are being captured on a different page - see Practitioner Needs.

Sponsor Needs

If you wish to add your thoughts about what the new Department of Peace should do from a Sponsor / Voter / Taxpayer / Member of Congress perspective, please click on the appropriate category below and add your comments. Sponsor Needs are to be expressed as succinctly as possible and reflect a specific viewpoint as suggested by the list of categories below.

Sponsor Categories

Note: If you don't find an appropriate Sponsor Category, click on the "edit" tab for this section, copy the line for "other", add a new category to the list, save the page, and click on the new category you just added. This will take you to a new page where you can provide a detailed description of your "Sponsor Need."
